We have gained a number of success stories through our academic-industrial connections built up in the past few years, especially in one of our Asian future target countries: India.
The Indo German Institute of Technologies, IGIT at VTU, Bangalore, has generated a number of projects sponsored by the German Federal Ministries for Education and Research BMBF and for Economy and Technology BMWi as well as by the State of Karnataka and the City of Bangalore.
We will also be represented in the economically interesting southern parts of India in the course of this year through the Indo German Offices I-GO in Neuss and Bangalore early 2007 with further planned offices in Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Vellore, Calcutta and Chennai.
